So, I was having a rough moment yesterday. I was coming off of a less-than-ideal weekend, I hadn\u2019t slept well the night before, I was fighting off a cold, and I had received some news that didn\u2019t sit well with me. All I wanted to do was put my forehead on my desk and stay there.<\/span><\/p>\n

At that moment, I heard a faint \u201cgood morning\u201d at my office door. The greeting from my co-worker turned to a quick \u201cAre you okay?\u201d and the listening ear I desperately needed.\u00a0 I was able to tell her how I was doing, unload a couple of woes, and after receiving a long hug, I felt a lot better. Still pretty sleepy, but better.<\/span><\/p>\n

I love how God puts people in my path to carry my burdens and help me through the daily battles. That is part of His strategy. As it says in Ecclesiastes chapter four, \u201cOne may be overpowered, two can defend themselves.\u201d The most vital part of a successful victory campaign is the next part of the verse: \u201c<\/span>A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.\u201d\u00a0 When the fight gets hard, we need to trust in Him to get us through it. We also need to grab a friend and declare together that God is with us and that He is our strength. Sometimes the whole regiment needs to hear that.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
