Last night ended up being the worst of it as well, and by the end of the evening I needed some encouragement.\u00a0 Some kind of inspirational moment to lift my spirit. A pep talk, if you will. Did I do what a normal Bible believing Christian would do and turn to the Word of God?\u00a0 No. I went to YouTube.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I pulled up a scene from one of my favorite movies where the main character gives this amazingly inspirational speech to an army of weary soldiers about to enter the battle of their lives. The big moment in the speech is when the hero declares, \u201cThere may come a time when the courage of a man fails, but it is not this day.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When our enemy seeks to mess with us, we need to make that bold confession of faith. We can, too, because when we are in Christ, our victory is already won. Paul says it best in 1 Corinthians 15: \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.\u201d The enemy will not prevail in your day.\u00a0 Not today, and not ever.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8211; Beth<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Bible Quiz<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p>Question:\u00a0 This false prophet was a sorcerer and an attendant of the proconsul Sergius Paulus.
