You need a password or a PIN for everything nowadays and I hate it when I forget one.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yesterday I wanted to make a change to an account for one of those gas station reward programs I belong to. Much to my surprise, I couldn&#8217;t do it in the store. I had to do it at home on the company\u2019s website, accessing my account with a password I haven\u2019t used in years. Did I remember the password?\u00a0 I didn\u2019t, so I clicked on the \u201cforgot password\u201d prompt on the sign-in page, followed the instructions and waited for the coveted password recovery email. It never came. I was lost in a forgotten password oblivion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this day and age, one can easily understand why we need things like PIN numbers and passwords. We need that level of security to keep others from doing nefarious things with our finances and information.
