Everywhere I look, I have clutter\u2014piles on the kitchen counters, my desk, on kitchen chairs &#8211; it\u2019s just a mess, and it is weighing on me. It\u2019s not just the clutter in my house that\u2019s draining; it\u2019s the constant cycle of things to do and things to put away and the reminders that I am really behind on things. Last night, I desperately wanted to find some peace in the chaos.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This morning, I was led to read Isaiah 26:3: &#8220;You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.&#8221; My mind right now has been anything <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">but<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> steadfast. It\u2019s easy to think that if I just <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">get rid<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> of all the clutter, then peace will magically appear. But Isaiah reminds us that true peace comes from a mind fixed on God, He is the source of my peace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When I get home today, I\u2019m tackling the piles around my house. As I do, I\u2019m hoping to declutter my mind by fixing it on Jesus.
