It\u2019s been concert season again in our house. Our kids love to sing, so we\u2019ve been attending a flurry of school concerts\u2014snapping grainy, distant photos and soaking in all the creativity and joy that comes from a stage filled with young voices.<\/span><\/p>\n

But the one that stood out most was the high school pops concert. It\u2019s the big finale of the year\u2014a mix of everything the students have learned, blended with popular songs and solos performed by seniors. The music was fun, the energy contagious, and the talent on display was genuinely impressive.<\/span><\/p>\n

What really struck me, though, came after the singing. The music teacher took a few moments to talk about each of the seniors. Then a slideshow played, highlighting the students’ pictures along with their plans for the future\u2014college, careers, dreams.<\/span><\/p>\n

And I found myself wondering: <\/span>Do you remember what your plans were when you graduated high school?<\/b><\/p>\n

It\u2019s amazing how time reshapes things. Some plans stick. Others fade. Life has a way of tuning us\u2014refining our direction, shifting our steps. And yet, even as the details change, God\u2019s purposes never do.<\/span><\/p>\n

The students on that stage are just starting out, stepping into unknowns, full of hope and possibility. But whether they know it yet or not, the most important plan isn\u2019t the one they make\u2014it’s the one God already has for them.<\/span><\/p>\n

So maybe today\u2019s a good day to reflect\u2014not just on where we thought we\u2019d be, but where God\u2019s led us. His plans are often surprising, sometimes winding, but always good. Just like a concert, each moment adds to the melody of a life that can glorify Him.<\/span><\/p>\n
