It’s National Siblings Day!\u00a0 What did your sibling teach you about life without even realizing it?<\/p>\n

Morning Devotional<\/span>:<\/p>\n

Last night, I got to the point where I was overwhelmed.<\/span><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t because of one big problem. It was a host of little problems in my life that converged all at once. When it happened, I said to myself and the Lord, \u201cEnough, already! Why can\u2019t I get any help here?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

I had to laugh because right then, the lyrics of a song from one of my favorite musicals started running through my head: \u201cWe gotta make an all-out stand, and I\u2019m gonna need a right-hand man.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever felt alone in the fight, or had a moment that just drained your spirit? <\/span>David describes his moment in Psalm 142.\u00a0 He felt very much alone when he penned this: \u201c\u2018Look and see, there is no one at my right hand; no one is concerned for me. I have no refuge; no one cares for my life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It is in a moment like that where you have to ask yourself the question, \u201cWho is my right-hand man?\u201d\u00a0 I have a couple of friends that I can call on and pour out my complaints, but when they can\u2019t fit the bill, there is always Jesus. He was right by my side last night, giving me what I needed to press on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

David was not alone but he sure felt like it at times. Identify your right-hand person and lean on them in those moments. If that doesn\u2019t work, cry out to God. He is always there for you.<\/span><\/p>\n
