We\u2019ve had a pretty busy week here at Kinship Radio. We conducted our first Prayer and Praise Day on Tuesday and held our first Spring Share. With all of that activity, I found myself running all week long between work and home, sometimes very quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n

One moment this week, though, I found my momentum halted in its tracks – all because of a stuck door.<\/span><\/p>\n

My garage door has never been great. I\u2019ve been meaning to replace it since I moved in, but never had the opportunity or the cash lying around to do so. On Tuesday morning, I went to open it, but it wouldn\u2019t move past about a foot off the ground. The door was stuck, and I couldn\u2019t get it to work.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I eventually got it to open, thanks to some elbow grease and the right product to lubricate the hinges. What got me was that startling moment of uncertainty when I thought I was stuck, with no way out of the garage.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Have you ever had that feeling of waiting for God to open a door for you? The questions start to fly:\u00a0 Is this really the door for me? What if this isn\u2019t the right door?\u00a0 Should I be looking for something different? Or, you feel like you\u2019re stuck in a spiritual rut and the off-ramp is miles away. I\u2019ve been there and it\u2019s not fun. But it is a place where God strengthens our faith, trust and perseverance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When that door in front of you is stuck between closed and open, know that God will reveal His perfect way for you, and the perfect timing for you to go through it, if we trust in Him.<\/span><\/p>\n

Proverbs 3:5-6 say this: \u201c<\/span>Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
