We delay important tasks, waiting for the &#8220;right time&#8221; or perfect conditions. But in Ecclesiastes 11:4, we are reminded of this: <em>\u201cWhoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>This verse teaches us that waiting for ideal circumstances can keep us from acting at all. Just as a farmer who waits for perfect weather might never plant, we, too, may miss out on opportunities or \u201cdivine appointments\u201d if we keep waiting for everything to be just right. God doesn\u2019t call us to act only when we feel ready.
