My favorite craft is scrapbooking and paper crafting, primarily because it\u2019s a craft I can complete quickly.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I had forgotten to buy a birthday card the other day, but I had a little time on my hands and a lot of supplies in my closet to make one. I got things organized, chose paper colors, coordinated a design and got to work. There was one problem, though. The blade on my favorite paper cutter was really bad. It barely cut through cardstock and when it did, it left a horrible edge. The blade was way too dull.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Have you ever tried to accomplish a project with dull, rusty, or broken tools? It takes a lot more work to get something done right. The author of Ecclesiastes recognized that when he wrote in chapter ten, \u201cIf the axe is dull and its edge unsharpened, more strength is needed.\u201d The author follows that with another observation: \u201cBut skill will bring success.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We have been given a number of tools to walk out the Christian walk and exercise our faith, haven\u2019t we? Things like prayer, our individual gifts and callings, and God\u2019s Word.
