I have lost weight before, but through a number of fad diets that led to see-saw gains and losses that left me emotionally drained and frustrated. This year has been different, though. The weight loss has been steady and I have felt really good!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">However, over the last five or six weeks I couldn\u2019t lose a pound to save my life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I would get on my scale, hoping to see the slightest change in the figure on the display and nope, I would be denied. That number would not move, no matter what I tried. I wanted to cry, I wanted to throw myself into a bowl of ice cream, I wanted to give up.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Something inside of me said no, though. That little voice was telling me not to take my eyes off the prize. I was to exercise my faith and keep going, believing that the more I pressed into God, the mountain would move.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It finally did, too. I\u2019m down another half-pound as of Tuesday.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jesus said in Matthew 17, \u201c<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, \u2018Move from here to there,\u2019 and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.\u201d You may have an obstacle in front of you that\u2019s not moving.
