The shower surround he was installing was not fitting in the space the way he had hoped, and he would have to come up with another plan in order to make it fit.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was not greatly concerned, except for him this was the third time he would have to reverse course and correct a problem in order to do the installation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We studied the space, reviewed all of the options and determined the best course of action. I then offered an observation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt\u2019s like a big jigsaw puzzle. They\u2019re frustrating until you get them put together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I was never much of a fan of jigsaw puzzles. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It got too frustrating to find the right pieces and I often found myself wanting to get a pair of scissors and cut them to fit. That of course would have ruined the puzzles and prevented anyone else from enjoying them.\u00a0 When the pieces of our lives don\u2019t seem to fit, it\u2019s the same thing. We are tempted to short-cut the process of what God is doing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ephesians 2 reminds us that \u201cwe are God\u2019s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.\u201d Being that masterpiece in the making takes patience and a lot of trust in the craftsman.
