Morning Devotional<\/span>:<\/p>\n

When my wife Kris got sick recently, it was like the gears of our household came grinding to a halt. Kris is the one who keeps everything running smoothly, from organizing schedules to making sure everyone\u2019s needs are met. But for a couple of days, she had to rest and recover. That left the rest of us\u2014me and the kids\u2014facing a choice: Would we let the chaos take over, or would we step up to fill the gap?<\/span><\/p>\n

It wasn\u2019t perfect, but we worked together. The kids pitched in with chores, I juggled tasks I don\u2019t usually handle, and we all learned something important: when one part of the body is weak, the other parts have to step up and carry the load.<\/span><\/p>\n

It reminded me of Paul\u2019s words in <\/span>Galatians 6:2<\/b>: <\/span>“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

When someone in your family, your church, or your community is struggling, God calls us to step in and help. It\u2019s not about doing it perfectly\u2014it\u2019s about showing love through our actions. And when we do, we reflect the selfless love of Jesus, who carried the ultimate burden for us on the cross.<\/span><\/p>\n

So, the next time someone in your life needs help, don\u2019t hesitate to step up. You might just find that in serving them, God is strengthening you too.<\/span><\/p>\n
