It was extremely heartening and encouraging to see so many Kinship Radio listeners participate in the “I’m So Blessed” event last week.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

In case you missed it, the idea was simple: Tell us, in fifty words or less, why you are so blessed.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dozens of you contacted us to tell us why you are blessed <\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Most people were grateful for friends, family, and people who love them which is understandable as God made us to love and to be loved. A significant number also thanked God for our LORD Jesus Christ and the work He did on the cross to restore and heal our relationship with God the Father. Some of you were even grateful for Kinship Radio! (HALLELUJAH!)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I was and am (of course) ineligible to participate under the rules of such Kinship events –but that doesn’t prevent me from praising God and thanking Him for blessing me beyond all measure for giving me the opportunity to serve Him. He has called me and equipped me and miraculously opened doors that have allowed me to be a full time missionary following Jesus wherever He leads me every day of my life. I am beyond grateful!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Oh, and speaking of being blessed, I cannot let this event go without having officially noted that Lucian Alvarado’s rendition of “I’m So Blessed” was a FABULOUS blessing! (Regrettably, Lucian is also ineligible for prizes from Kinship Radio.)<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

At any rate, here are some of my personal favorites (and completely anonymous) entries:<\/span><\/p>\n

“I am blessed to be a daughter of the Most High King!”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“This year I am so thankful for the beauty all around us. “<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“I am blessed knowing, ‘For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.’ Eph. 2:8.9 <\/span>God sustains me. God\u2019s forgiven me.”<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Simply because God has given me a path where in my daily life, I am able to spread the word of hope through what Jesus has done and is still doing in my life to the ones around me! I’d say I’m beyond blessed.”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“My husband and I were missionaries in the Middle East for 12 years. We were blessed to be able to serve in this way. Blessed with friends from all over the world and to see God at work through dreams, visions, and miracles; so many Muslims come to know the Savior!”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“God loves me despite my mistakes and sins. Continually. He is my Father; I AM a CHILD of God! My simple mind cannot even take it all in.”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Thank you that there is nowhere I can go that is beyond your presence. I am blessed beyond measure. You have said that you will never leave me or forsake me. May I live a life of thanksgiving in your presence.”\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“I\u2019m so thankful for God\u2019s Mercy and knowing that I have access to his presence, for Kinship Radio to be able to be on the air to be a blessing for many people!!”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“BLESSED!! When I wandered away from my Shepherd, He searched until He found me. He picked me up out of the muck and mire, washed me clean and set me back on my feet again. May I never wander away from my Shepherd again.”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“I’m thankful for His sacrifice for me and His saving Grace! I’m thankful to those who spoke the TRUTH when my mind, and heart, was so sick I couldn’t see that He never left me but was carrying me the entire time! Thank you for your ministry as you were one of those who spoke truth!”<\/span><\/p>\n
