Four times!\u00a0 That\u2019s how many times I got out of my car and went back into my house to either grab something I forgot or turn something off before I pulled out of my driveway to get to work the other morning. If it wasn\u2019t grabbing my lunch out of my refrigerator or my watch out of the bedroom, it was turning the lights off in the garage or the living room. I ended up getting to work a few minutes late, and that\u2019s essentially how the whole day went. I was running late for pretty much everything.<\/span><\/p>\n

Running late for something is a very human experience, and while we may be rushing around and forgetting things, God never will. In our limited view, it\u2019s easy to wonder why He doesn\u2019t seem to show up when we want Him to, or why some prayers go unanswered for so long. But Scripture reminds us that God\u2019s timing is not ours. We operate in minutes and hours, but God moves through eternity. He\u2019s never late, and His timing is always perfect.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second Peter 3:9 tells us that God is not slow, as we often perceive slowness. Every moment of waiting, every unanswered question, and even every frustrating delay has a purpose in His plan. He sees the full picture and knows exactly when to move.\u00a0 When you\u2019re caught up in the rush of life or feel frustrated by a detour or delay, God is working in every single moment and He is faithful.<\/span><\/p>\n
