What is the best advice you can give in exactly four words?<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a statistic for you to think about.\u00a0<\/span>A <\/span>recent survey concluded that the average American knows by 8:36 am whether it will be a good day or a bad day.<\/span><\/p>\n

This particular survey also discovered that the events of a morning cause about one-half of people to either cancel all or part of their plans on a given day or call in sick. This happens on average about four times a month due to reasons such as waking up sick or with a headache, getting a poor night\u2019s sleep the night before, misplacing their keys, forgetting a wallet or a phone, or simply oversleeping.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It makes me think there\u2019s something to be said about starting the day off on the right foot. But how do we do that?<\/span><\/p>\n

I believe the key lies in Psalm 118. Verse 24 says, \u201cThis is the day the Lord has made; <\/span>We will rejoice and be glad in it.\u201d When we make that declaration and choose to have that attitude of gratitude, it completely changes our outlook! We may not have had a great start to the day, but this commitment to thank God for His love and faithfulness in the morning will carry us through.<\/span><\/p>\n

Out of His love and goodness, God has granted us one more day – this day – and that\u2019s a<\/span> reason to be thankful. Let us rejoice and be glad!<\/span><\/p>\n
