Maybe they offer unsolicited advice or blurt out an insensitive comment. It can be frustrating, leaving us feeling hurt or misunderstood.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Bible reminds us that words have power: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;No human being can tame the tongue. It is a restless evil, full of deadly venom.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (James 3:8). We&#8217;ve all been there, on the receiving end of a clumsy comment or a misspoken phrase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But here&#8217;s the good news: <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">&#8220;Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.&#8221;<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (Proverbs 19:11). Instead of reacting in anger or frustration, we can choose grace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Imagine someone tripping and falling. Our natural response would be to help them up, not to scold them for being clumsy.
