When the time came for me to leave for the day, I noticed it was still raining quite heavily. As I stood in the entryway of our building, staring at my car in the parking lot and calculating the distance between the two points, a single thought crossed my mind.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Should I make a run for it?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nah, I said to myself and proceeded to casually walk to my car, letting myself be drenched and sparing myself the embarrassment and potential asthma attack a full sprint would bring on.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When we find ourselves in stormy times, we like to have places where we can find shelter, right? I know I do. When things get tough, I like being able to know where I am safe. The same holds true for the spiritual storms we find ourselves in.
