I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m going to say this, but I miss my gym!<\/span><\/p>\n

It has been a whirlwind week or so here at the radio ministry as we have been gearing up for our annual Kinship Radio Day for Women. We have been putting in a lot of extra hours preparing for this Saturday\u2019s event – so many that by the time I have finished my work day, the gym I go to is closed for the day. I haven\u2019t been there in more than a week and I miss my workout time. My muscles feel it and my spirit feels it, too. Taking that time for myself has helped take the weight of the world off my shoulders.<\/span><\/p>\n

We tend to carry a lot of baggage, don\u2019t we? Things like work concerns, family issues, financial stresses, you name it – there are a lot of worries and cares out there that weigh us down. We could try to bench press it all ourselves but why, when we have a Father who is ready to take on the load for us? Peter tells us in 1 Peter 5:7 to \u201ccast all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.\u201d Let Him take the weight off your shoulders. He can handle it.<\/span><\/p>\n
