I have made no secret of my love for the love of God.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I’ve also been very transparent about my love for Paul’s description of God’s love in Jesus Christ in Ephesians 3:18-19:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u00a0“And may you have the power to understand, as all God\u2019s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.\u00a0May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God.”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

So, there’s really no surprise that I am greatly enamored by the title of Kinship Radio’s 2024 Day for Women: “Love be the Loudest –Hearing God’s voice above the noise.”<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

What a great title.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On a daily basis, we are surrounded by distraction after distraction trying to draw our attention away from that central, fundamental, basic, glorious truth as Jesus said in Mark 12:30-31:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. <\/span>The second is this: \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself.\u00a0There is no commandment greater than these.\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

It’s the main thing. Love God, love people. Pretty simple, really.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ahhh, but how the enemy of our souls likes to distract us from keeping the main thing the main thing with the things of this earth. Even as I write this, there are mechanical\/electrical things in my life conspiring to distract me, but I know who controls my eternal destiny!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

And so does Ginny Owens, the main speaker at the event this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ginny is a singer\/songwriter, author, speaker, and laughter enthusiast. (I’m seriously considering adding that last one to my resume.) Her message will guide people toward the awesome, overwhelming, powerful love of Jesus Christ. I’m looking forward to<\/span>\u00a0listening to her message in the course of my volunteer\u00a0work at the conference. It as, after all, a ‘Day for\u00a0Women<\/u>!'”<\/span><\/p>\n
