I think we all have struggled with fear at one point or another. You get the assignment from God, you know what you need to do, but the enemy gets in there and tells you things that just manage to set you up for fear and failure.<\/p>\n<p>I personally fear the unknown a lot and at times I shy away from doing what God asks because of fear. It\u2019s only when I trust in the promises of God that my fear is overcome.<\/p>\n<p>There was ample opportunity for Joshua to be fearful about going up against Jericho but in Joshua chapter six, the Lord dispels his fear by telling him, \u201cSee, I have given up the city.\u201d\u00a0 I have to think it wasn\u2019t the marching around the walls of Jericho that made them fall.
