So I lost my phone yesterday. The funny part was that I lost it in plain sight, something I tend to do from time to time. In order to find my phone, I had to call it, and I used my voice activated home speaker system to dial it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t hear my phone ringing because I always keep the ringer turned off but I hoped I could see it light up or hear it vibrate as I walked through the house. Sure enough, I found it in my bed.\u00a0 Later on in the evening, I looked at the call history only to find a number I didn\u2019t recognize. I passed it off as just a wrong number but this morning, it dawned on me – the number that I didn\u2019t recognize, the one that called me, was me!\u00a0 At least, it was my home speaker.\u00a0 Confused yet? I sure was.<\/span><\/p>\n

We think communication is so easy nowadays. With all of the gadgets and gizmos at our disposal to get a hold of someone, you would think we would have a much easier time at passing on information. It\u2019s complicated – but not so with God.\u00a0 Isaiah 65:24 is a favorite verse of mine – it says, \u201c<\/span>Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.\u201d <\/span>You don\u2019t need a phone, a charger, a cable, an internet connection, or any of that stuff.\u00a0 You just need to open your heart to Him and start talking. He\u2019s always listening.<\/span><\/p>\n
