Sometimes, when all the world seems to be swirling in a mass of confusion, panic, and lies, the best of all possible responses is to draw near to the LORD and praise Him. Here are some selected passages intended for that purpose:<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple, and he healed
\nthem. But when the chief priests and the scribes saw the wonderful
\nthings that he did, and the children crying out in the temple, \u201cHosanna
\nto the Son of David!\u201d they were indignant, and they said to him, \u201cDo you
\nhear what these are saying?\u201d And Jesus said to them, \u201cYes; have you
\nnever read, \u201c\u2018Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have
\nprepared praise\u2019?\u201d (Matthew 21:14-16 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“And as he rode along, they spread their cloaks on the road.\u00a0 As he was
\ndrawing near\u2014already on the way down the Mount of Olives\u2014the
\nwhole multitude of his disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a
\nloud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen, saying, \u201cBlessed
\nis the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and
\nglory in the highest!\u201d And some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to
\nhim, \u201cTeacher, rebuke your disciples.\u201d\u00a0 He answered, \u201cI tell you, if these
\nwere silent, the very stones would cry out.\u201d(Luke 19:36-40 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“And again, \u201cPraise the Lord, all you Gentiles and let all the peoples extol
\nhim.\u201d (Romans 15:11 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

“What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind
\nalso; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also.”\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>

“In him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of
\nyour salvation, and believed in him, were sealed with the promised
\nHoly Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire
\npossession of it, to the praise of his glory.”\u00a0(Ephesians 1:13-14 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is
\njust, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if
\nthere is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about
\nthese things.”\u00a0(Philippians 4:8 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God,
\nthat is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” (Hebrews 13:15 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

“Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let
\nhim sing praise.”\u00a0(James 5:13 )<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\nbeen grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your
\nfaith\u2014more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire\u2014
\nmay be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of
