Morning Devotional<\/span>:<\/p>\n

I had to take the class again\u2026 \u00a0 In Minnesota, if you are in the process of getting your drivers license, you have to get 50 hours of drive time behind the wheel.\u00a0 Now\u2026 if your parent signs up and attends a three hour class, they will knock ten hours off of your driving time.\u00a0 I did this for my daughter Glory.\u00a0 Then Malachi rolls around and I inquire , do I have to take the class, every time I have a child learning to drive. Because that would mean that I have to do it 5 MORE Times.\u00a0 The answer I got back was yes, I have to do it every time. So great, I go to the Class, where the instructor informed me that, no, just give them my certificate next time, and I should be good, BUT, she wanted me to stay this time.\u00a0 Fine, I sat through it.\u00a0 Now the funny thing is it was surprising just how much I had forgotten from the LAST time I had taken it.\u00a0 Here I was all confident that I knew everything, but I forgot a simple facts about us humans.\u00a0 We leak.\u00a0 We need to refresh our knowledge often.\u00a0 This is true even of scripture passages and Biblical concepts we have heard over and over and over again.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get complacent, don\u2019t get over confident, or you might find yourself in a place, struggling to share Jesus, but you just can\u2019t remember a concept that you \u201cknow\u201d but don\u2019t remember where it is from or how to say it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

8\u00a0Keep this Book of the Law\u00a0always on your lips;\u00a0meditate\u00a0on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

15\u00a0But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer\u00a0to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope\u00a0that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,<\/span><\/p>\n

We can do this.\u00a0 Don\u2019t get overconfident.\u00a0 Let\u2019s make an effort to keep our knowledge of salvation fresh, so we are ready to give it to those who need it.<\/span><\/p>\n
