It was too dark to walk outside so I ended up pacing the entire length of my house trying to work off some energy and get to a place where my body wasn\u2019t screaming at me. I needed to calm down, and after about a half hour of this brisk walk, not-quite-a-jog stuff, I finally felt like my legs could rest and I could sit still.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s not hard for me to get agitated, and there are times when the littlest things can get me going. Sometimes the simplest of worries can put me over the edge. That\u2019s why the Lord\u2019s word to us in Psalm 46:10 is so important: \u201cBe still and know that I am God.\u201d One translation drives the point home even better. \u201cCease striving and know that He is God.\u201d\u00a0 I\u2019m pretty good at the striving part.
