Morning Devotional<\/span>:<\/p>\n

One of the things I love to do when I visit my parents in Wisconsin is attend their church. Their church is growing like wildfire and they have been particularly blessed with a lot of families with young children. There are a lot of them, and a Sunday morning worship time is always alive with their activity.<\/span><\/p>\n

This past Sunday at their church service, I sat next to a family with a young daughter who was in a wheelchair. I wasn\u2019t quite sure of the nature of her medical condition, except that she appeared to be non-verbal. We exchanged a couple of rushed hellos shortly before the service started and all was well.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When the worship team started their music set, that\u2019s when things really got good. The congregation was singing but this little girl next to me was worshiping! She was rocking back and forth in her chair, swaying her arms, vocalizing the best she could as loud as she could, and her face was beaming! It wasn\u2019t perfect worship in the normal sense, she didn\u2019t have to say a word, but to the Lord her worship was exquisite.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We hear psalmists in the Word plead so often, \u201clet my whole being praise Him.\u201d To me, that little girl was the epitome of their prayer. Let it be ours as well.<\/span><\/p>\n
