Morning Devotional<\/span>:<\/p>\n

I enjoyed a pretty quiet weekend at home – one of the last I will have for a while, I\u2019m afraid, as the fall season is usually a busy season of family obligations and for ministry for all of us here at Kinship Radio. On my lazy Saturday mornings, I enjoy sitting on the bench in my front yard, enjoying the morning sun and the gorgeous maple tree that has yet to turn its vibrant shade of bright red. At least, so I thought.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last Saturday morning I noticed that down my street, my neighbors\u2019 maple trees had all started to turn their fall colors – some had just a few leaves turning that bright red orange, some many more than others. But mine?\u00a0 Nothing, except for one leaf. Just one red leaf that honestly, I could barely see and almost missed. Just as I was thinking about how extremely odd this was, I heard that familiar little whisper say to me, \u201cBeth, I see and know every detail, just like I see and know you.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

What can we learn from a leaf? It\u2019s so easy to think we are so small and forgotten in God\u2019s plan but we\u2019re not. He sees us, He knows us, He\u2019s aware of every detail of our lives. He knows every hair on our heads, right? Then I have to think He knows our struggles and concerns, all of it. You\u2019re not forgotten, you\u2019re not abandoned. He is not going to ignore you, and He won\u2019t pass you by.<\/span><\/p>\n
