Morning Devotional<\/span>:<\/p>\n

Do you appreciate the divine interruption?\u00a0 I had one the other day and I didn\u2019t even realize it until the moment was almost over.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

I happened to be in a store and ran into a friend of mine from way back. It had been quite a while since we had seen one another and I was really glad to see her. We chatted for a time in the aisle, quickly sharing what the Lord had been up to in our lives. It was only a five minute or so moment, and when we were finally ready to go our separate ways she gave me this big hug and said to me, \u201cOh, it was so good to see a friendly face. Thanks for being here for me.\u201d\u00a0 She walked away, and then I went right to the Lord about our exchange. Thanks for being there for me?\u00a0 It was good to see a friendly face? Could it be that my very presence, a simple run-in with a sister in Christ could have that impact?\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

When we carry the presence and the love of the Lord with us, yes.\u00a0 When we choose to be filled with the joy and peace that He provides us, definitely, because that love and joy is going to rub off. In the book of Romans, the apostle Paul shares a simple prayer with us. Romans 15:13 says, \u201cNow may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.\u201d\u00a0 Do you overflow with the hope and joy that\u2019s found in Him? Let those two things spill over in your life because you never really know when they are going to land on someone else.<\/span><\/p>\n
