Dear Kinship Christian Radio,<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for all you do.<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for the songs you play. I very much enjoy Christian music and often find a line or a chorus echoing in my soul throughout the day –or even for many days. <\/span><\/p>\n Even short, little bits of these songs can embed themselves in my soul and cause me to ponder the greatness of God, the love He has for us in Jesus Christ, and that Jesus is LORD. <\/span><\/p>\n “I did all that I could do undo me, but you loved me enough to pursue me,” from Toby Mac’s “Love Broke Through” is an example. Left to my own devices, without the Word of the Lord, without prayer and without faith, I would indeed undo myself. God’s relentless love does pursue me, because it’s always there and He has promised that He will never leave me nor forsake me! Hallelujah!<\/span><\/p>\n Zach Williams’ “Chain Breaker” reminds me Jesus is a prison-shaking savior. He broke my chains long ago, when I was searching for the light of day in the dead of night. There is a better life! Yes, if you believe it, if you receive it, somebody testify! C’mon somebody testify!”<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for “Lift Your Head Weary Sinners” by Crowder. I had built a mighty fortress ten thousand burdens high. I did come stumbling in like a prodigal child,\u00a0but the past is dead and gone. Come all saints and sinners, whatever you’ve done can’t overcome the power of the blood. Let the chains fall! Let the gates of glory open wide!”<\/span><\/p>\n And, there’s nothing wrong with a little toe-tapping “I want to dance” encouragement in that new song I so enjoy called\u00a0“Revival” by Third Day. “God is gonna move and their aint no doubt! Only by the Spirit and the Word of God! Lift up your voice and say “Amen!” Lift up your voice and say “AMEN!”<\/span><\/p>\n Thank you for the pastors and the preachers who share the Word of God on Kinship Christian Radio. <\/span><\/p>\n I especially enjoy Ravi Zacharias and the depth of thought on “Let My People Think” on Sunday afternoons.<\/span><\/p>\n Alistair Begg of “Truth for Life” is a fine preacher, heard daily on Kinship Christian Radio. He has wonderful insights as he delves into Scripture and can certainly turn a fine phrase on a regular basis. One of my favorite quotes from him is, “And I am not insensitive, dear ones, to the irony of a Scotsman named Begg preaching on tithing.”<\/span><\/p>\n And, I almost never miss “Creation Moments” on my drive to work as Paul Taylor gives a daily example of God’s grandeur in the world He created.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n There’s also James McDonald, Dennis Rainey, Jim Daly, Mike Fabarez, Chuck Swindoll, and others I’ve probably missed. Over the years, I think I’ve learned something at sometime from all of them.<\/span><\/p>\n Just this past Sunday, as I was preparing breakfast, Dr. Paul Nyquist on “Moody Presents” said, “We don’t even know what we don’t know.” That one sentence has been bouncing around in my brain ever since as I ponder my limited intellect in the light of God’s omniscience. (It may bounce back out as a future blog post someday. Stay tuned, ladies and gentlemen.)<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0And, let us certainly not forget all of the Kinship Christian Radio Announcers, staff, and Board of Directors all of whom bring something wonderful to the air waves and make it all possible.
