I would much rather resort to paper plates and disposable silverware than wash dishes any day.\u00a0 Still, it was a surprise when my afternoon chai treat was about to be spoiled by my lack of diligence in the dish scrubbing arena.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I had filled a mug with water and put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes to heat up, and as I was about to add the tea mix, I saw that the water in my mug was already a light beige color. Apparently, my mug already had some caked chocolate sludge-type substance on the bottom of it from a previous use. Needless to say, I chose a different mug and the offending one was put in the sink for another go at a wash. My second attempt at a chai tea went without a hitch, but the delayed gratification gave me the opportunity to ponder just how imperfect I am.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When it comes to sin, I am definitely not a perfect person. None of us are. Paul writes in Romans that \u201call have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.\u201d It would be easy to think that we are hopelessly stained with sin, but that\u2019s where Jesus comes in.
