Take for instance amathophobia. You would think it was a fear of algebra but it\u2019s actually a fear of dust. You won\u2019t find any algebra textbooks in my house but the dust is growing exponentially!\u00a0 And in case you were wondering, there is a name for a fear of numbers or math &#8211; that\u2019s arithmophobia.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are so many times over the course of our lives when we can be easily gripped by fear but in so many of those times, our fears are really unfounded, based on a belief that something can or will cause us harm. In those times, we need to remember the truth &#8211; there is no fear in God. It says in 1 John 4:18 that \u201cThere is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear.\u201d That perfect love is God.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whatever you might be afraid of today, whether it\u2019s dust or long division or any other factor of life that\u2019s trying to take your eyes off of God, remember that there is no need to fear.
