However, her sense of smell is on point and all she needed was to have me walk past her to know that I was in the house.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Because Zoey can\u2019t see or hear me, I always hold my hand in front of her nose so she can smell it before I touch her and pick her up.\u00a0 My scent was all she needed last night &#8211; she started jumping in place like she was on a springboard, over and over again, ready for me to snatch her up into my arms.\u00a0 She missed me, and she was more than ready to jump into my arms.
