{"id":47741,"date":"2023-04-12T06:28:05","date_gmt":"2023-04-12T11:28:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kinshipradio.org\/home\/?p=47741"},"modified":"2023-04-12T06:28:05","modified_gmt":"2023-04-12T11:28:05","slug":"morning-show-archive-april-11th-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kinshipradio.org\/home\/morning-show-archive-april-11th-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Morning Show Archive &#8211; April 11th, 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Morning Devotional:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One worried thought and the next thing I knew, half my night was gone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m dealing with a pretty big situation in my life right now, one that has had me vacillating from doubt to faith, panic to peace, and so on. I don\u2019t have a resolution yet.\u00a0 I don\u2019t even have a plan and the strain is starting to wear on me. This self-confessed worry wart is doing just that &#8211; worrying. But as the Lord does, He provided me with some much needed perspective.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yesterday I got an email from someone I don\u2019t even know committing to pray for me, sensing an unspoken need. A coworker here at the radio ministry knew the right word to say at just the right time to connect me with a dose of truth. It was as if in one fell swoop, God showed me that not only does He have the intercessory prayer team in place, but that my worries were already taken care of.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Worry is a funny thing.\u00a0 We do a lot of it, thinking it will get us somewhere when in reality it keeps us stuck in the same place and wears us out. There is truth in what Jesus asks in Matthew 6:27, \u201cCan all your worries add a single moment to your life?\u201d\u00a0 The answer to that is no. Worry doesn\u2019t move a single mountain &#8211; it just makes for a lot of sleepless nights.
