Morning Devotional:<\/span><\/p>\n

When I find myself in a place where I am praying and seeking the Lord for answers and I am not seeing results, I often find myself describing that place and season to others as times of “plowing concrete.”<\/p>\n

You know what I mean – you are praying and praying for some sort of breakthrough and your prayers only seem to be scratching the surface or worse yet, going nowhere. I was feeling that way the other day until I turned on my TV and saw a program that was documenting the renovation of a large commercial property. The moment I caught was when the work crew was – you
\nguessed it – digging up concrete. A large concrete slab was being dug out, broken up into bits and hauled away to make room for something new. I watched this for a few moments and prayed, “Yes, Lord, do that for me! Take every tool in your heavenly arsenal and bust through whatever needs to be broken to move in my life, in my need, whatever.” I confessed my unbelief and reasserted my belief in His abilities and you know what? I now know God will move, and IS moving, because I believe what His Word says.<\/p>\n

Isaiah 43 says that God “made a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters.” The Lord goes on to say that He is “making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” I am convinced that whatever may be blocking your way today, God will move it. He is a way maker.<\/p>\n
