Something wondrous and amazing happened late afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021. You might say that \u201cJesus Happened!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n It was the third day of Kinship Radio’s annual “Share” fundraiser. Faith promises came in steadily during the previous two days. There was a sense that things were going well and then, as anticipation grew, the ministry met its fundraising goal hours<\/em> before Share was scheduled to end.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n But you, Kinship Radio listeners, kept pouring out blessings.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Holy Spirit continued to move in hearts and souls of listeners and donations kept coming in beyond the goal. At the end of the event that day, Kinship Radio reached 112.3% of the goal. All during those latter hours of share, as I listened, I could not stop thinking of Malachi 3:10:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,\u201d says the LORD of Heaven\u2019s Armies, \u201cI will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won\u2019t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! (NLT)<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The LORD opened up the windows of heaven for Kinship Radio. As the goal was reached, the wave of generosity continued. The focus then moved from sustaining ministry operations to expansion. Needs above and beyond normal operating expenses include a new automation system, potential expansion of Kinship Radio\u2019s broadcast territory, and equipment needed to outfit production studios in the Mankato location.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n So, the message sent by the Holy Spirit through your faith promises is that the Word –the life-saving Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for forgiveness, reconciliation, and relationship with the One True LORD– should expand and grow and reach more and more souls!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n HALLELUJAH!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The thing is, that beautiful verse, that glorious wonderful promise, is in the midst of a fiery rebuke for the descendants of Jacob from God Himself. Throughout the entire book of Malachi (the last book of the Old Testament) the LORD rebukes Israel for their false and shallow worship of Him. Many of those verses could describe our society today. But, in the midst of that message, God shows that His love is unfailing and He shows us the way back to Him. He shows us that a sincere heart and obedience to His purposes of love and redemption are eternal promises.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Great Commission is not optional. It is not something Jesus said, “You know, if you feel like it, go and tell all the world.” He did not say that we should be the salt and the light of the world when it’s easy or convenient or only when society is open and receptive to Jesus.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n The ministry’s vision is: <\/span>\u201cThrough Kinship Radio\u2019s platforms, every person has the opportunity to discover, know and grow in a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n You have provided the tools and the message the Holy Spirit brought forth from the windows of Heaven.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Message received.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I cannot wait to see what God does through Kinship Radio next!<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Today’s Praise<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBut for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings.
