Even while Christianity is declining here in “the western world,” a revival is sweeping Africa, the Caribbean, parts of Asia, China, and South America. While we are lamenting our “post-Christian” western world, there are more Muslims coming to Christ right now than in the previous 1500 years of Islam.

The Holy Spirit is doing remarkable things, folks.

And on what may seem to be yet another seemingly unrelated bunny trail, a dear brother named Adrian recently posted on Facebook: “The love of God does not leave me alone, it follows me everywhere, if I run with all my strength until the end of the world to get away from Him, there he finds me, I can not escape, I feel harassed by his love. “

Now, many of you will no doubt recognize that Adrian’s comment was influenced by Psalm 139:

Where can I go from your Spirit?

Where can I flee from your presence?

If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. (Vs. 8-9 NIV)

But the part that jumped out at me was that last sentence where he says he feels “harassed” by God’s love.

Granted, Adrian originally posted his comment in Spanish (he is one of the dear brothers in Christ I met in the Dominican Republic) and I just used Google translate to be able to understand it.
