The National Day or Prayer is Thursday, May 7. For most of you who read this when I post it on Wednesday night, that means the National Day of prayer is tomorrow!<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This is anything but an ordinary NDOP. There were rumors that it wasn’t going to take place at all, but that’s not true. HALLELUJA<\/span>H!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

If ever we needed a National Day of Prayer, NOW is the time! If ever there was a time to cry out to the LORD, NOW is that time!<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I believe the LORD has the attention of large numbers<\/span> of people right now. I mean, look at the situation: For years, the people organizing the NDOP have told us the seven “mountains” of influence we should pray for are: the Church, the Family, Education, the Media, Government, the Military, and Business.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

COVID19 has shaken the very foundations of every one of those mountains.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Our very society has been shaken to its roots, and I personally do not believe I serve a God of coincidence. I believe something will come out of this, and I do not believe it will leave anyone lukewarm. I pray fervently that out of this pestilence will come a time of awakening, repentance, and revival to His glory!\u00a0<\/em> <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Kinship Christian Radio will be airing the National Day of Prayer Broadcast on all of our stations from 7-9 p.m. Please do tune in and join <\/span>brothers and sisters in Christ from across the nation in praying for this country that was founded as “One Nation Under God.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, we exist to give You glor<\/em><\/span>y. We exist<\/em><\/p>\n

because of Your glory, and in Your glory, as<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

our Creator, Redeemer, and Sustainer. We<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

give you thanks and praise for every breath<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

and moment You have given to us. We<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

repent of our sin; for the shameful things<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

we have done against You and for our<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

silence when we did not speak up to<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

proclaim Your Name, profess Your Word,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

or protect and practice Your will.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We ask Your forgiveness.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

We pray that the knowledge of the glory of<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

the Lord will spread across<\/em><\/span>\u00a0our nation and<\/em><\/p>\n

the entire earth as we seek Your Kingdom<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

and righteousness; as we walk in<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

obedience to You, and in humble unity,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

love one another. Jesus, the Bible says that<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

You are \u201cthe knowledge of the glory of the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Lord.\u201d You have taught us to pray,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

commanded us to love, and commissioned<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

us to share Your gospel of grace. Your<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

glory fills our hearts and families, it<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

overflows into our<\/em><\/span>\u00a0neighborhoods,<\/em><\/p>\n

workplaces, campuses, churches,<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

entertainment, and media. We give thanks<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

for our military and ask that Your glory<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

would spread to, and through them as they<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

preserve freedom around the world. We<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

pray for our government, that all of our<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

leaders and laws would be filled with Your<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

glory, that they would magnify Your Holy<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Wor<\/em><\/span>d and honor Your will and ways. We<\/em><\/p>\n

pray that Your grace and glory would<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

spread to bring hope to the hopeless, and<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

love where there is hurt and hate. God, use<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

us as we pray your promise, that \u201cthe earth<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

will be filled with the knowledge of the<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

glory of the Lord as the waters<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

cover the sea.\u201d In Jesus Name, Amen!<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Today’s Praise<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The LORD frustrates the plans of the nations<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

and thwarts all their schemes.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

But the LORD\u2019s plans stand firm forever;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

his intentions can never be shaken.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

What joy for the nation whose God is the LORD,<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

whose people he has chosen as his inheritance.\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
