The Bible says the wages of sin is death\u2014that\u2019s what we deserve. But what we get is eternal life through faith in Jesus who paid that very price for us. <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><br \/>  <span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">Maybe that\u2019s why \u201cAmazing Grace\u201d is such a moving song for so many people. I\u2019m sure many of you know the author, John Newton, was a slave trader who came to Jesus and was instrumental in the abolition of slavery. <span style=\"mso-spacerun: yes;\">&nbsp;<\/span><o:p><\/o:p><\/span><br \/>  <span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\"><\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">Throughout the lyrics, that difference between what he deserved and what God gave him is clear and plain.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,<br \/>That saved a wretch like me.<br \/>I once was lost but now am found,<br \/>Was blind, but now I see.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">The depth and riches of God\u2019s love are abundant beyond measure. We fall to our knees in awe and fear at His Grace. And, on our knees, humbled by the power of that love, His perfect love casts out all our fears and we are free!<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">T&#8217;was Grace that taught my heart to fear.<br \/>And Grace, my fears relieved.<br \/>How precious did that Grace appear<br \/>The hour I first believed.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">That grace never leaves us. The phrase \u201cunconditional love\u201d has become a clich\u00e9, but it truly does describe His grace.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><i style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">Through many dangers, toils and snares<br \/>I have already come;<br \/>&#8216;Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far<br \/>and Grace will lead me home.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/i><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: &quot;Verdana&quot;,&quot;sans-serif&quot;; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;\">His promises are written in the Bible. We have a guarantee of salvation, written in black and white.
