At 4:45 yesterday morning I let my dog out to do her business before I left for work. What should\u00a0<\/span>have taken about two or three minutes turned into an untimely, very unplanned adventure.<\/span><\/p>\n

Abbie had broken her tie-out cable and seized the opportunity to take a stroll down the street. I didn\u2019t realize it until she was several houses away. I took off after her, doing my best to call her home without waking the neighbors. It took some clever coaxing but eventually, Abbie came back home, quite satisfied from her little excursion. I, on the other hand, was relieved that she was home and safe from harm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We all have moments where we think the “freedom” away from home looks better than staying close to the Father. But God is the ultimate pursuer. He leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who has wandered off. If you\u2019ve lost your way, listen for His voice. He\u2019s calling you home to safety and grace.<\/span><\/p>\n
