  • Secure Your Own Oxygen Mask Before Helping Others – Sometimes in our zeal to serve and care for others – especially those we love – we ignore our own physical, emotional and spiritual health.  As committed Christians, we need to follow Jesus’ example for serving others.  He prayed first, fell asleep when he needed it, found His inspiration from His Father and cared for His loved ones (all of us) out of his reserve, never operating on fumes or on an empty tank.  This talk will illuminate the power of caring for others by learning about how important it is that we care for ourselves first (our true needs in this life).  This way of caring prolongs our lives, exhibits true Christian values and demonstrates to others how to truly love others in the midst of life’s stresses.  Anything short of this leaves us with very little to share.   Presenter – Dr. Ruth Bolton
  • Light in the Dark – This session offers a variety of time-proven ‘tools’ to help us cope with depression, anxiety and/or chronic pain.  We’ll learn some easy and effective techniques that help with physical, emotional, spiritual and cognitive aspects of these conditions.  We’ll also sprinkle our time together with humor and simple creative projects which you’ll be able to take with you.  Presenter – Jo Klein
