KJCY Asst. Office Manager
I was born and raised on a farm near Rochester. I was #9 of 11 children, consisting of 6 boys and 5 girls. I attended and graduated from Byron High School. Shortly after graduation I met and married Dave Walters, and moved to Osage as Dave was in partnership with his dad at Roy’s Body Shop, the family business. Since taking over the business in 2010, Dave & I have expanded to include Heavy trucks and have also changed the name to Integrity Collision and Recovery.
Our family includes 3 married children, 1 son and 2 daughters and 10 grandchildren. Chris home-schooled their children for 10 years and worked part-time at a local chiropractor’s office for 20 years. I eventually left my position at the chiropractor’s office to help her husband with expanding the business while doing the bookkeeping where I continue to work part-time.
Dave & I came to a saving knowledge of the Lord while our children were young. We have served in various ministries including youth, motorcycle and to those seeking freedom from various addictions. And, we will continue to serve until the Lord takes us home.
We have been avid supporters of KJCY since the very beginning of the ministry in the 1990’s and early 2000’s. I actually attended the first meeting in the back room of the Osage Christian Book store where the process for establishing a Christian radio translator or station was explained to area residents by Matt Dorfner. Dave & I have been supporting KJCY in many ways ever since that first meeting including the support of the KJCY Business Underwriting program.
It my pleasure and an honor to work for Kinship Christian Radio. I am Blessed to be here.
