On-Air Host, Middays / Producer
Kinship Radio Network

Function of Job: This full-time position reports to the Kinship Radio Network Program Director and includes the weekday hosting and board operation of the Kinship Radio’s mid-day program. This is a team-oriented individual who loves making a difference in others’ lives by imaginatively sharing biblical truth on-air in a spiritually encouraging, relatable way.

 

Job characteristics and Responsibilities

  1. Serve as midday host/board operator each weekday, offering inspiring content with a biblical world-view, both on air and in social media.
  2. Provide voice tracking for automated air shifts as assigned
  3. Write and produce interviews, features, and spots as assigned.
  4. Conduct, produce and air interviews with subject matter experts, community partners and listeners.
  5. Interface with co-workers on the effective operation and promotion of Kinship Radio (including social media contributions).
  6. Grow, dream and innovate by participating in staff meetings that serve to advance fulfillment of the network’s mission
  7. Interact with listeners, ministry leaders and business partners in a way that advances the mission and promotion of Kinship Radio
  8. Write public service announcements for Kinship Radio Community Calendar
  9. Implement program adjustments in cooperation with Program Director
  10. Represent network at church, community events to increase ministry visibility
  11. Serve as on-air team member/contributor to Kinship Radio’s fundraising efforts and related programming.
  12. Perform related duties as assigned

 

Experience and Qualifications

-Major Market voice, ideally with 5+ years of experience in non-profit radio
-Advanced digital automation and production experience
-Clear, conversational writing and speaking skills
-Undergraduate degree preferred
-Self starter
-Strong organizational and time management skills
