ALBERT LEA – KJLY – Ruby’s Pantry Food Distribution is held at the Assembly of God Church in Albert Lea on the 1st Saturday of each month. Doors open at 9:30 and distribution is from 10 to 11:30AM.
ALGONA – KJYL – Cornerstone for Life of Algona is an outreach for women and men who are facing uncertainty due to an unplanned pregnancy or fear over possibly being pregnant. Free pregnancy tests are offered and compassionate volunteers will be available to meet confidentially on Tuesdays from 4-7PM at the Lighthouse on State Street in Algona. BLUE EARTH – KJLY – Habitat for Humanity has started a fundraising and awareness campaign, ‘Get on the BEAM’, which provides churches, VBS groups, businesses, or any public place an actual 2′ by 4′ beam to display. When people donate any amount of money in the cup provided, they can sign their name on the beam and the beam will then be used in the construction of a ‘Habitat’ home. BLUE EARTH – KJLY – Interfaith Caregivers offers the REACH Program for people who are caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other dementia at home. CLEAR LAKE – The Spring Session of Grief Share will begin Thursday, February 15 and continue every Thursday evening through May 13. Feel free to join anytime during the 13 weeks at the Open Bible Church in Clear Lake from 7:00 to 8:30pm.

FAIRMONT/MARTIN COUNTY – KJLY – Do you need help doing your yard work? The Martin County Youth for Christ is willing to help. You must supply the tools, planting seeds, dirt and other items, but the Youth will provide the workers. To schedule a time, please call 507-235-6016.
FAIRMONT/BLUE EARTH – KJLY – Interfaith Caregivers offer two Parkinson’s Support Groups each month. The Fairmont group meets the last Thursday of the month at 10:30 at Grace Lutheran Church and the Blue Earth group gather at the Ag Center Conference Room every 3rd Wednesday at 1:30PM.
FAIRMONT – Celebrate Recovery meets every Thursday evening at 6PM at Bethel Evangelical Free Church, in Fairmont.
FARIBAULT & MARTIN COUNTIES – KJLY – Faribault and Martin Counties Human Services are searching for potential Foster Parents to work alongside them to provide a loving, caring and stable home for county children that are in need of a safe environment with dedicated caregivers. FORT DODGE – KJYL – Restoration Point Addiction Ministry meets on Friday nights from 7 to 9:30PM at Harvest Baptist Church, in Fort Dodge. Free child care is provided while individuals and families seek recovery from addictions of all types – drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping, and more. Counseling is available for individuals and families, with an accountability and support group. There are may books & video resources as well as fun activities. FORT DODGE – KJYL – Blanden Memorial Art Museum in Fort Dodge, hosts a FREE family art day on the first Saturday of every month from 10:30AM to 12:30PM. FORT DODGE – KJYL – Those with a heart for prison ministry are encouraged to contact the Church of the Damascus Road for information about ministering to the imprisoned or becoming a part of the Outside Church Council. NORTH MANKATO – KJLY – Grandparents and relatives raising children meet the 2nd Thursday of every month at New Creation World Outreach Church in North Mankato from 6 to 7:30PM. SPENCER – KJIA – The Courage to Heal is a 13-week series of videos and small group discussion sessions beginning January 21st and going through April 29th. This is a non-denomination recovery group for men and women that are separated, divorced or ending a long term relationship. Participants will meet Sunday evenings from 6pm to 8pm in the Grace Room at the Hope Reformed Church in Spencer. Pre-registration is encouraged by calling 712-262-3391. If you cannot attend all sessions you are encouraged to attend as many as possible.
